In this video, exercise-based physiotherapists and yoga teachers Simon Borg-Olivier MScBAppSc(Physiotherapy) and Bianca Machliss BScBAppSc(Physiotherapy) describe the YogaSynergy style. YogaSynergy is traditional Eastern Yoga that has been specifically developed and adapted for the modern Western body. YogaSynergy is a unique synthesis of ancient yogic wisdom with modern medical science. It is also an intelligent synergy of the teaching that Simon and Bianca have gratefully received over the last 30 years from Natanaga Zhander (Shandor Remete), Master Zhen Hua Yang, Sri B.K.S Iyengar, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sri T.V.K. Desikarchar. The system provides a safe and effective way to generate and circulate internal energy at the same time as developing strength without tension, flexibility and mobility without painful stretching, cardiovascular fitness, and the health of your internal organs. The main type of practice is smooth flowing and dance like with a meditative approach.
