While there is no official confirmation on the existence of the devices, a new leak in the form of 2D drawing has revealed the front and rear design of Pixel 4 XL smartphone. 1. Allo is shutting down March 12 - Allo was announced back in 2016. Unlike its popular video counterpart Duo, the app never really took off — so it was no surprise when Google formally announced the app's days were numbered in December. According to a banner on the Allo website, the service's time has come: it's shutting down tomorrow, March 12.
If you're particularly attached to any of the conversations you had in-app, now's the time to download them for safe keeping.


2. Vivo smartphone with 6.39-inch notch-less AMOLED display, triple cameras spotted on TENNA - A new Vivo smartphone has been spotted on TENNA website, spilling beans over key specifications of the upcoming Vivo device. Reports suggest that the Chinese company could launch the device as the Vivo X27. It is also said to launch a Vivo S1 smartphone, which was also recently spotted on the certification website. The listing shows a new Vivo device with Vivo V1838A model number.


3. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 getting March 2019 security patch in select markets - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the newest device to get the security patch for the month of March. Google released the March security patch for its Pixel smartphones last week and its OEM partners get access to the security update a month in advance. The Korean electronics giant has released the latest Android security patch in a handful of markets including Taiwan, Bulgaria, Romania, Switzerland and the Nordic region. The March security update bumps the software version of N950FXXS5DSB4 and is the first software update for Note 8 in these regions since they received Android Pie update last month.


4. WhatsApp banning accounts using modified third-party app versions like WhatsApp Plus - Complying to users and platform security concerns, Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp is banning accounts of users who have been using modified versions of the app like WhatsApp Plus and GB WhatsApp.
These altered versions of the messaging app are developed by third-parties where the company cannot validate their security practices. These unofficial apps violate the Terms of Service clause of the official app.


5. Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL owners experiencing microphone and call-quality issues - A couple of Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL users are reportedly experiencing microphone and call quality issues. According to posts on Reddit and Google forums, whenever a Pixel 3 user calls, the audio quality on the receiver’s side is creating issues, including a ‘tinny’ sound, choppy audio, and echoes. In addition, the audio quality is fine on the caller’s end. The issue also occurs when calls are made to landline or a cell phone.


6. Android Q developer beta could be released on March 13 - Google usually rolls out the latest Android version in the second half of the year. The search giant released the first developer preview of Android Pie in March 2018 and then the second Android P Beta was released at Google’s I/O in May last year. Google I/O is basically an annual developer conference held by Google in Mountain View, California.

Sony Xperia 4 specifications leaked; 21:9 tall screen and Snapdragon 710 SoC tipped - After the launch of Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 duo, Sony might be ready with another tall-screen Xperia smartphone called the Sony Xperia 4. According to the latest information shared by Sumahoinfo, Sony is working on a smartphone with 21:9 display and Snapdragon 710 SoC.
