1. vivo iQOO gaming smartphone reportedly coming to India by June - Vivo sub-brand iQOO launched its first smartphone called vivo iQOO earlier this month. The smartphone is currently only available in China but it will debut in India in Q2 2019. According to a report by 91Mobiles, the vivo iQOO gaming smartphone will be launched in India by late May or early June this year. The company will also launch a second gaming smartphone in the country later on. vivo iQOO in Electric Blue and Lava Orange iQOO will price these smartphones between INR 30,000 ($435) and 60,000 ($870) and will compete with OnePlus which is very popular in this price


2. Samsung’s newest Notebook 9 laptops arrive on March 17th - Following up on the Samsung announcement we told you about back in January, related to the pair of new notebook PCs the company unveiled at CES this year, we've now got release dates for both the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro, as well as the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen.
Samsung announced today that both laptops will be available to buy starting March 17. The Notebook 9 Pen will is priced at $1,399.99 and will be available for purchase at Amazon and Samsung.com, while the Notebook 9 Pro will start at $1,099.99 at Best Buy and Samsung.com. Through March 31, customers who buy a Notebook 9 Pen at Samsung.com will also get a $100 eCertificate towards the purchase of a PC or PC accessories.


3. Snapchat will launch a gaming platform, now that its rivals have copied everything else - After being hampered by stagnant growth as its rivals relentlessly copy and repurpose its core features, the next era in the story of Snapchat is apparently at hand. And it will have gaming at its core.
The popular ephemeral messaging app is reportedly set to host a summit for content creators and developers in Los Angeles on April 4, during which the company will formally unveil what it's been referring to internally as "Project Cognac" -- a gaming platform that includes a slew of new games for Snapchat users to play that were developed by outside creators.

Google may launch its mid-range smartphones under Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL branding - A number of reports have surfaced online indicating that Google is working on a more affordable Google Pixel lineup that is aimed at the mid-range price segment. Previous rumors have given us a glimpse of what this affordable line may offer both in terms of design as well as the internals of the device. However, we are still not sure what name the company will launch the devices under. Previous rumors indicate that the devices may launch as Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite. However, a new report online has revealed information about the names of these devices.

The Taiwanese smartphone began roll out of Android Pie beta for the Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Zenfone Max Pro M2 last month and the final roll out was expected to happen sometime this month. However, the company has now confirmed that it will release the stable update of Android Pie for these devices by April 15. The announcement shows the difficulty faced by Google’s OEM partners with every new release of Android despite promising timely release of software updates.


7. Google files patent for ‘Z-fold’ display technology - Google has recently filed a patent which suggests that the search-engine giant could be interested in a “Z-fold” display technology that could bend in two different places without breaking.
The patent does not mention the word “phone” even once, instead it refers to how the display could be used by “modern computing devices” which could refer to tablets or laptops, The Verge reported on Thursday.

Samsung Display is making the screen for the Huawei P30 Pro - It seems Huawei and Samsung have let bygones be bygones as the Chinese telecom giant has contracted Samsung Display to manufacture the AMOLED screen for the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, it has been revealed. It’s replacing BOE and LG, who manufactured the OLED for the Mate 20 Pro.
While the reason behind the switch is unclear, some believe that Samsung’s established production line, as well as the impeccable quality of its AMOLED screens, were responsible for it winning the sole contract — it can meet Huawei’s requirements without having to bring in another manufacturer.


2. Realme 3 radiant blue color variant set to go on sale on March 26 - Oppo spin-off recently launched Realme 3 smartphone in India with Black and Dynamic Black color options. The Radiant Blue color variant of the smartphone is now all set to go on sale for the first time on March 26. Realme confirmed this information via Twitter. The Realme 3 will be available via Flipkart and the company’s website. In addition, the smartphone will also be available via offline stores.
As for the pricing, the Realme 3 carries a price tag of Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant and Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage configuration. Additionally, the other color variants of the Realme 3 will be available for purchase on March 19.

4. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro gets Android 9 Pie Here is how to download - Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, the first smartphone from the company to feature a notched display, is now getting Android 9 Pie update. The update comes after Xiaomi pushed the newest version of Android to Redmi Note 6 Pro. Xiaomi had launched the Redmi 6 Pro and other devices with Android 8.1 Oreo and has now begun updating several devices to Android 9 Pie with its own custom interface. The Android Pie update is not directly available to Redmi 6 Pro users just yet and is being released as part of Xiaomi’s MIUI 9.3.14.0 beta update.

Reliance Jio tops 4G chart with 20.9Mbps download speed in February - Reliance Jio was the fastest telecom network in February, registering average download speed of 20.9 megabit per second on its network, according to the Trai data.Performance of Bharti Airtel and Vodafone remained almost flat at 9.4Mbps and 6.7Mbps compared to their performance in January, the data published by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) showed.The average download speed on Idea’s network improved to 5.7Mbps in February from 5.5Mbps in January.Though Vodafone and Idea Cellular have merged their businesses and now operate as single entity Vodafone Idea, Trai published their network performances separately.
